Ok, so Wednesday, I'm in my 6th period math class, and my friend's crush Steven (7th grader)and his buddies Oscar and Maston are sitting there, whispering about who knows what. But anyway, my friend Karen (the 6th grader who likes Steven) starts singing "Fireflies" by Owl City. So Oscar, being SO Oscar (I'll explain later), yells out, "Shut up I hate that song!!!" Then Steven's like "For reals! It's so gay and annoying! Shut up Karen!" Her heart dropped, I could tell. And I, being SO me, always sticking up for my homies, yells back "Why don't you shut up! That's why no one likes you! Karen can sing whatever the freak she wants to sing! So shut your freaking mouths!" Karen's heart lifted back up. "Thanks," she said, smiling. "No prob. You know I got you, KareBear," I said, smiling, too. Then, we hugged, and laughed together. Oscar is always yelling out rude comments, and no one likes him but Maston, Steven, and Jesus. But they all rolled their eyes. Then I was all like, "Don't be freaked, Karen. Their just REALLY jealous of our friendship, because they know in their hearts their friendship isn't even half as good as ours," really loudly so I made sure they heard me. But I said all that to say, uhhhhh oops i forgot. :)

The pop tune also broke a world record for most digital download ever by a female artist. I personally love the song, too.
